XI204XE, XI102XE-HD and XI104XUSB now discontinued; new minimum order quantities for Pro Capture DVI 4K and Pro Capture AIO 4K models
June 29, 2018 — Nanjing, China: Magewell today announced the End-of-Life (EOL) of three of the company’s first-generation devices, and new Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) for two of the company’s lower-tier PCI Express 4K capture cards.
Magewell strives to maintain the lifecycle of its products as long as is practical. The changes outlined below are being implemented based on shifts in technology, market demand and the availability of key components.
End-of-Life (EOL): XI204XE, XI102XE-HD and XI104XUSB
The XI204XE, XI102XE-HD and XI104XUSB are now discontinued, effective immediately. These first-generation products were initially released in 2012 and 2013, and subsequent product lines including the Pro Capture and USB Capture families have surpassed their capabilities in terms of performance, functionality, development SDK and operating system compatibility.
Magewell is continuing to provide technical support for these products, and accessories such as brackets and breakout cables continue to be available.
To assist OEM developers with this transition, such customers can still purchase XI204XE, XI102XE-HD and XI104XUSB by meeting the MOQ requirement of 50 pieces. Such customers are recommended to place Last-Time-Buy (LTB) orders as soon as possible. Please contact email@example.com for more information.
New MOQ: Pro Capture DVI 4K and Pro Capture AIO 4K
Effective immediately, Pro Capture DVI 4K and Pro Capture AIO 4K cards may be ordered only by meeting the MOQ requirement of 20 pieces. These two models support 4K capture at up to 30 frames per second.
The Pro Capture AIO 4K Plus offers all of the functionality of the Pro Capture AIO 4K model while capturing 4K at a full 60 frames per second. High-definition Pro Capture DVI models continue to be available at any quantity for customers needing to capture HD DVI signals.
