Magewell Ultra Stream App
Magewell Ultra Stream App is a mobile application that works with Magewell Ultra Stream encoders. It can help users complete the initial setup, access the advanced features of the Ultra Stream and upgrade the device’s firmware. Users can also use the App to monitor the video in the smart phone.
- Use your smart phone to scan the QR code or choose your smart phone OS to download.
- You can also search "Ultra Stream" or "Magewell" in the Google Play or App Store.
Search and Discover Devices Automatically
If the Bluetooth of the smart phone is turned on, the Ultra Stream App can discover the encoders via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. When your smart phone and your Ultra Stream encoders are connected within the same subnet, the App will search for available devices automatically and pair your phone with the Ultra Stream encoder you choose. Even if there is no Wi-Fi network onsite or the wireless environment is complicated, you can turn on the AP mode of the encoder via your Ultra Stream App to connect the encoder to your phone. Live Streaming Made Easier
- Natively support streaming to YouTube, Twitch and Facebook Live
- Stream to custom-specified RTMP or RTMPS server, support sending RTSP streams
- Stream to two platforms simultaneously at bitrates up to 4Mbps

More Choices for Video Recording
- Record and save clips to internal storage, a USB flash drive or the associated smartphone
- Support normal and loop recording mode when recording to the internal storage (In normal recording mode, recording will stop automatically when the storage space is full. In the loop recording mode, the saved file is automatically overwritten with the newly generated one when the storage space is full.)
- Support timer setting for short videos and taking screenshots when recording to the smartphone
More Advanced Settings for Encoding
- Support for setting volume, network, recording and streaming parameters
- Support simultaneous main stream and sub stream encoding with customizable parameters (Support previewing main stream on the App)
- Bitrate for main stream is up to 8 Mbps while for sub stream is 1 Mbps
Upgrade Firmware Online
When connected to the network, Ultra Stream App can automatically detect the latest firmware and help users to complete online upgrade.
