As we close out 2025, I wanted to share some highlights from what's been an extraordinary year for Magewell and where our vision lies for 2026.
Throughout 2025, Magewell maintained a strong presence at major industry tradeshows including ISE, NAB Vegas, InfoComm, and IBC. Customers could also find our colleagues as well as our channel partners representing Magewell at regional trade shows across multiple continents such as Germany, UK, Japan, Dubai and Thailand. We've observed an important trend that the industry has moved past the education phase about what IP is. They arrive with specific deployment questions. We're glad to see our long-term investments into AV over IP are helping them solve major technical challenges over the time and our global-based distribution network continuously ensures a trusted supply and support.
This year brought several product launches and updates in different product lines.
Within I/O, after a successful announcement of USB Capture HDMI 4K Pro last year, we managed to introduce the SDI version in 2025—USB Capture SDI 4K Pro. Leveraging the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface, users can driver-freely capture 4K resolution without compromising frame rates plus still benefiting the portable form factor. These two latest innovations on USB Capture, together with other available models provide comprehensive solutions to get AV signals into software.
Mac users of both our Pro Capture and USB Capture will also find a major Magewell driver and SDK release for macOS 13 and above with detailed sample applications shown for both generic AV Foundation API and Magewell proprietary APIs for enhanced features.
Stream and Convert are very important product lines that help users to complete their IP infrastructure and streaming in various vertical markets. We provide Pro Convert IP to USB to provide an easy and robust way to get NDI and other IP into software without causing eyebrows raised from IT Staff.
In the meantime, 2025 has witnessed Magewell’s commitment by quite a few firmware updates that extend and enhance interoperability with third-party technical partners. From NDI 6.x, Zixi, Q-sys Plugins and Crestron Plugins, Closed Caption, Magewell engineers have been working hard to ensure our customers’ investment are long-term and future-proof. We are honored that users have voted for Ultra Encode AIO in 2025 Streaming Media Readers' Choice which helps us won that award.
Last but not the least, we have announced a new member for Produce and Present line—Director One. It builds on the powerful feature set and flexibility of Director Mini with a larger, brighter touchscreen; integrated 4G cellular modem; and direct HDMI output. Initially designed to simplify the production of engaging shows by small crews, we’re continuing to evolve the product line for these use cases but also seeing it increasingly used to simplify advanced presentations.
The convergence of broadcast and Pro AV markets is accelerating. Broadcasters are evaluating more accessible solutions while corporate environments, houses of worship, and educational institutions demand broadcast-grade capabilities - often driven by hybrid work requirements rather than traditional broadcast trends.
Magewell will reinforce our core emphasis on innovative solutions that help customers bridge any available source type – whether AV signals or IP streams – to any destination, whether that’s software or equipment.
We're heading into ISE 2026 in Barcelona in February ready to address these challenges with solutions that maintain operational continuity while unlocking new capabilities. Myself, as well as my colleagues are looking forward to seeing you there again!
