Are USB Capture Gen 1 devices compatible with USB Capture Utility V3?

No. USB Capture Gen 1 devices is only compatible with USB Capture Utility V2. The Gen 1 XI100DUSB-HDMI (silver) device can be compatible with USB Capture Utility V3 after it’s firmware is upgraded (see How to connect XI100DUSB-HDMI device with USB Capture Utility V3).
