Use Magewell capture device in Skype

Pro Capture Family 1Modify the registry of the capture device Refer to the relevant topic: Captured video is narrowed and can't be sent to the other side when I use Pro Capture card in Skype/Skype for Business/Microsoft Teams 2Add video input devices in Skype On the Call menu, point to Video, and then click Video Settings to open the Video Settings tab page of the Skype - Options dialog box. Add Magewell capture device in Edius

In the main Edius window, click System Settings on the Settings menu. In the System Settings dialog box, point to Hardware, and then click New. In the Preset Wizard dialog box, enter the Name and click Next. Click the Interface menu, and then select DirectShow Capture. Then you will find Magewell capture devices on the Stream menu.

1Create a scene collection On the SceneCollection menu, click New, and then enter the name of the scene collection. 2Add video and audio input devices Under Sources, click the plus sign, and then click Video Capture Device. When the recording is complete, click Stop Recording. 5View the save location of recorded video Click Settings to open the Settings dialog box. Click the Output tab to view the Recording Path. 1Add video and audio input devices In the main vMix window, click Add Input to open the Input Select dialog box. Click the Camera tab, and then set the properties of the capture device as follows: Camera: select the Magewell capture device on the drop-down menu. Use Magewell capture device and XSplit Broadcaster to record video

1Add video input devices Click Add source at the bottom right of the main window, point to Devices (webcam, capture cards...), point to Video, and then select the Magewell capture device. 2Set the resolution and frame rate Click the text to the right of the menu bar to call out the Stage Options menu. Point to Resolution, and then click the resolution that you want. Point to Frame Rate, and then click the frame rate that you want. 3Add audio input devices Select the Magewell capture device in the source list, and then click Settings. In the Cam tab page, select the audio input device linked with video in the Audio Input drop-down menu. Use USB Capture Utility V3 to change the orientation of captured image

In the Video tab page, look for Specific Effect under CAPTURE, and then select the Flip or Mirrorcheck box to achieve your desired orientation.

Use USB Capture Utility V3 modify EDID In the HDMI tab page of USB Capture Utility V3, click Timing to open the EDID Detailed Timing dialog box. In the EDID Detailed Timing dialog box, select a timing format in the Mode list, and then set the following parameters: Horizontal Active: horizontal pixels of the resolution Vertical Active: vertical pixels of the resolution Vertical Scan Frame Rate: frame rate Use a third-party editor to modify EDID In the HDMI tab page of USB Capture Utility V3, click Export under EDID to save the original EDID to the local; use a third-party editor to modify EDID; click Import to import the custom EDID into the capture device; clear the SmartEDID check box.
