Users can switch between two HDMI inputs and two USB AV inputs as well as three simultaneous live IP sources including SRT streams, RTMP streams, RTSP streams, NDI® High Bandwidth and NDI® HX sources. HTML webpages and file-based media assets including video, audio and images can also be combined freely with live sources.

Director Mini features multi-source scene layout presets, making it easier and faster for content creators to produce engaging multi-camera event streams. Users can also choose to monitor and stream a combination of program, preview and input sources with Multi-view output mode.
Extensive and Robust NDI Support
Director Mini is NDI® Certified, and support for NDI® High-Bandwidth and NDI® HX3 comes standard with Director Mini at no additional charge. Users can bring in up to three NDI sources simultaneously, one of which can be used as a motion graphics overlay with NDI alpha channel. Director Mini also can provide two simultaneous NDI HX3 outputs, chosen from the program output, input sources, or a multi-view of program, preview and sources.
Leverage Your Phone for More Control and More Camera Angles
The Director Utility App works as a remote assistant to provide remote configuration, audio mixing, input switching, scoreboard control, instant replay and more. The app can also turn the smartphone’s camera into a streaming source as a mobile input to the Director Mini hardware, further enhancing the multi-camera production possibilities of the system. Users can connect 3 phone cameras for 3 separate scenes in one event.

Director Mini can encode video up to 1080p at 60 frames per second and bitrates up to 30Mbps. Productions can be streamed via RTMP to popular platforms such as YouTube™ Live, Facebook™ Live, or custom destinations. SRT output supports high-quality remote production workflows, while NDI® HX3 output is ideal for local IP-based production. Content can also be recorded to an SD card or the device’s internal storage. Two-channel ISO recording lets users choose from the program output, HDMI inputs or USB inputs.
