When the input aspect ratio and the capture aspect ratio are inconsistent

Magewell capture device will by default add black border to the video to accommodate the capture aspect ratio. There are two ways to remove the black border:

1. Reset the capture aspect ratio to the same value as the input aspect ratio.
2. Change the aspect ratio conversion mode.
• For USB Capture Gen 2 Family and USB Capture Plus Family devices, you can use USB Capture Utility V3. In the Video tab page, under CAPTURE, click the AR conversion drop-down menu and then select Ignore or Cropping to remove the black border.
• For Pro Capture Family and Eco Capture Family devices, you can call the driver panel of capture card. In the Video tab page, click the Capture tab, and then select Ignore or Cropping in the AR conversion drop-down menu.

When the input video originally has black border

• For USB Capture Gen 2 Family and USB Capture Plus Family devices, you can use USB Capture Utility V3 to crop captured video.
• For Pro Capture Family and Eco Capture Family devices, you can use the driver panel of capture card to crop captured video.
